The breath-taking poem which follows is written by a frequent visitor to my gallery, who has also become my friend. She found that my painting, Sunrise at Hopewell Rock , a place which she shares with her belated husband and friend, makes her feel close to him again. This moving piece, equally filled with delightful imagery and enduring passion, is her tribute to her Eddy and is her way of rejoining him in spirit. Notice that not only does she join her husband within the painting that she admires so much, but she and Eddy also become the rocks, as they stand "tall and still" heads together for eternity.

Sweetheart,

strike a Magic Match, and Light us to the Place
Silver, Blue, and Sacred,
where a Prayer is our Embrace . . .

We'll be Witness to the Sun, and Worship, Dawn through Dawn,

Tall and Still,
though Nights and Days pass on.

Come with me to Hopewell, as the sleepy waves recline . . .
you can wear your Emerald hat,
and rest your head near mine.

we shall whisper secretly,
and gaze across the deep

Her paintings are rare,
all done with great care.
A talent so fine,
like a great vintage wine
With a hand that is steady,
her brushes are ready.

Like Bach she composes,
a great symphony
But this is a rhapsody,
that you'll also see.
Perhaps this sweet melody,
will set you free.

A composer has a baton,
and Sandra has a brush
With each stroke and swirl,
you can feel your heart rush.
Like an opera that is sung,
on a stage of old
With each new canvas,
a story is told.

So pay close attention,
true talent is sparse.
To know a grat artist
can make life less harsh.
A talent like Sandra's
is a gift from the gods.

I visited your gallery website and I am fascinated with your talent. The level of emotion and caring in your beautiful work is obvious. I can tell it comes from your heart and creativity and not from a sense of commercialism. You seem to be able to express yourself in such diverse styles. Of particular interest to me is Waterlillies and Hibiscus. Although, it is hard to narrow it down; they are all wonderful.

I got it ("Heights") and I love it!!! It's all I thought it would be and more. I'm going to hang it in my bedroom which has pale yellow walls. The blue of the sky contrasts perfectly with the yellow of the walls and makes the girl really stand out..... Jennifer
